Safety at work

OHSAS 18001 Certification

Occupational health and safety issues are the most widespread, as they are an integral part of any company and are regulated by an extensive set of rules that are common to all production sectors. Among these, the most commonly-known is Legislative Decree n. 81, dated April 9, 2008 (Consolidated Safety Code), which assesses the risks faced by workers and determines their size (critical index) and, on the basis of this, assesses whether any action must be taken to reduce the risks and, if so, defines a direct or indirect, coordinated and feasible methodology for the action to be taken.

In order to make health and safety related activities efficient, the airport has set up a system for managing occupational health and safety, which aims to achieve OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series) Certification, which defines the requirements as required by current law and based on the potential hazards and risks in the workplace.
