Automobili Lamborghini and Aeroporto G. Marconi di Bologna confirm their profitable cooperation, started in 2013 with the launch of the renewed Lamborghini exhibition area near the main entrance on the Ground Floor of the passenger Terminal. The new concept corner, featuring an essential bright style, now avails of a large format video wall, catching passengers' attention showing videos of Lamborghini models and events.
Two are the super sports cars on display featuring the Huracán and Aventador collection. The area is equipped with a showcase of a selection of the best apparel and clothing branded Collezione Automobili Lamborghini, and an information desk available to customers wishing to visit the Museum and factory in Sant'Agata Bolognese.
Stefano Domenicali, Chief Executive Officer of Automobili Lamborghini, commented on the launch as follows: "The renewal of the Lamborghini corner bears two important meanings. First, we would like to further strengthen the bond to our territory. Lamborghini super sports cars are manufactured in Sant'Agata Bolognese, in the province of Bologna: our roots are strongly embedded in our Brand's distinctive character. Along with this, the brand and product communication are in this historical moment of the greatest importance. We are going through an extraordinary time of great expansion waiting for the launch of our new SUV in 2018.
Enrico Postacchini, President of AdB, added: "This partnership confirms the role of Aeroporto di Bologna as showcase of our territory's excellence. Lamborghini cars exhibited at the entrance of our Terminal represent one of the best business cards we can show our passengers, an important symbol of Emilia Romagna's skills, also supported by Marconi, of exporting abroad.
" The first Lamborghini exhibition corner was launched during the 50th Anniversary of the Group, and thought within the project of promotion of Bologna's excellence in the frame of an important international hub such as Aeroporto G. Marconi. Still in 2013, for the whole of May, planes landing at Bologna Airport were parked by an extremely exclusive Follow Me vehicle: a Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, equipped with a sign bar on the roof, operational lights and a Tower controlled radio.
Such initiative will soon be repeated: a Lamborghini car, Follow Me liveried, will once again be on duty in the autumn for about a month at Bologna Airport.
