Go-ahead with the new iPhone and Android App

New services and a brand new look for AdB 'BLQ - Bologna Airport' new app. Among the hottest news for passengers: real-time notifications on flights, easily selectable by ticking the concerned flight, and the constant updating on the waiting times at the security checkpoints.

A section on 'Services', containing all shops, restaurants, services and a map of the Terminal, and one on 'Transport', providing information on transport to and from the airport, have also been added. In order to enhance the passenger experience, all e-commerce services within the airport's 'MyBLQ' website have also been greatly improved, and it is now possible to book and buy the parking and Marconi Lounge entries and view and modify one's bookings.

All previous available services have been confirmed which made it a successful app: the viewing of the status of all flights of the day, including the departed ones, and the possibility to share the relevant information through the social media, and in the news and contact section, to leave a feedback and get in touch with the airport in the easiest and quickest way, with an online form and twitter.

This new product, realised with native code by Mavigex in cooperation with Endurance - Web Solutions for web services, meets a more and more frequent market demand for mobile solutions for the purchase of goods and services. This trend was confirmed by a recent study from Milan's Polytechnic, which has highlighted that in 2016 in Italy the digital payments through pc, tablets, smartphones and contactless POS have risen by 46% in a year, reaching the sum of 30 billion Euros. Today already a consistent share of the airport's parkings are purchased online: the aim is to raise this figure and further exploit the e-commerce potentials.

'BLQ - Bologna Airport' app can be downloaded free of charge from App Store (for iPhone) or from Google Play (for Android) by typing in the word 'BLQ'.
