A new app for Bologna Airport: Sostafacile
Bologna Airport has launched the app “Sostafacile” (easy parking) for parking payment. It becomes thus quicker and easier for passengers to park in the official car parks of Bologna Airport.
The new system is very simple to use: download the “Sostafacile” app, collect the access ticket in one of the Airport’s car parks (P1, P2, P3 and P4 or P Express), pay the due amount before exiting, following the app’s indications. Then you will only have to insert the access ticket in the barrier columns and you will no longer have to stop at the automated pay machines or at the parking control office.
“Thanks to the partnership started with Brav and Skidata – said Stefano Gardini, Bologna Airport’s Business Non-Aviation Director – Bologna Airport will be the first Italian airport to enable passengers to pay their parking through app. Once again, we’ve confirmed our focus on passengers’ comfort through the use of innovative and high level solutions”.
The new payment system will come in addition to the other methods already implemented at Bologna Airport: online reservation and payment on the Airport’s website, credit-card payment at the exit columns, Telepass.
“Sostafacile” system is already being used for payment in toll parking areas in many cities of Bologna Airport’s catchment area, including Bologna, Modena, Ferrara, Reggio Emilia and Rimini.
The new service has been presented today during a press conference in which Mr. Andrea Serafino Chierici, Skidata General Manager and Mr. Stefano Vaccari, holder of Brav – Sostafacile have taken part.
